Welcome to the Blog Page Entrance. This is where we let our hair down a bit (even if some of us don't have much to let down).

"Blog" is a conjunction of two words; Web and Log. In essence it is a regularly updated web page, typically run by an individual or small group, and is written in an informal or conversational style. It contains written articles and photos that may be of interest to anyone visiting the website.

You'll find many interesting items on the Blog page that just don't fit neatly on any other page of the OPW web site.

 

From time to time we'll feature articles from the OPW newsletter, VINTAGE VOICE. You can also find club news, events and updates on upcoming activities. Plus we'll post various Oakland and Pontiac news items that we run across.

 

Our goal here is to make the vintage car hobby enjoyable. You may find things that are well known, i.e. things that have been public knowledge for years. But you may also come upon things that will make you pause and say, "Huh, I didn't know that."

I have set this up so that you can choose a blog page related to a certain topic but please, check them all out. I thought this would be better than have one long page with tons of information and you needing to scroll & scroll & scroll down to see everything.

 

The page will be dynamic, that is, it will frequently change. So it would be a good idea for you to check back in once-in-awhile so you don't miss something.
